Important Online Security Information: Beware of Fraudulent Links!

To assist the public safeguarding their key personal data against scams and phishing messages sent by impersonators of financial institutions and merchants. Eddid Securities and Futures Limited (ESFL) fully supports the Anti-Scam Consumer Protection Charter 2.0 (the Charter 2.0) launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Association of Banks. We strongly remind our clients to remain high level of vigilance and exercise caution to avoid falling victim to text messages sent by fraudsters impersonating as their brokers.

1.  ESFL would like to alert all customers to be cautious of fraudulent communication impersonating our company (e.g fraudulent phone calls, voice messages, emails, SMS and other forms of impersonation).

2.  ESFL will never send instant messages such as SMS, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc. to customers with hyperlinks requesting your banking, credit card, investment, insurance, Mandatory Provident Fund account, or other important personal information online. We also do not request our customers to provide their personal information through social media messages. We would like to remind all customers to be cautious and verify the authenticity of social media messages to prevent falling victim to scams.   

3.   Beware of scams! Do not click on any suspicious hyperlinks included in messages claiming to be from our company, and do not provide your banking, credit card, investment, insurance, Mandatory Provident Fund account, or other important personal information. If you receive such messages, please remain vigilant.

4.    If customers receive suspicious SMS or emails claiming to be from ESFL, requesting to click on enclosed hyperlinks and/or provide any personal information, please be alert and think carefully before taking any action.
